(3) WHAT TO DO ON ARRIVAL OF CHICKS
When the chicks arrive, water must be given first for at least the first one hour to rehydrate them before introduction of feed. A glucose solution on arrival will make the chicks to overcome stress due to long distance transportation and also stimulate their appetite for feed.
